Coram offers comprehensive home infusion services with industry-leading patient outcomes, including catheter insertion and removal in the comfort of patient’s home or one of our ambulatory infusion suites.

Experienced, qualified nurses will:

  • Safely insert and remove most types of vascular access devices—including PICCs and midlines in adult and pediatric patients—for both short- and long-term infusion therapies
  • Confirm catheter placement on-site, potentially eliminating the need for chest x-ray in most patients
  • Provide patient education on catheter care and therapy
  • Administer the first dose of IV medications and observe the patient’s response
  • Monitor the patient's ongoing medication administration, catheter care, adherence and response to therapy

Our catheter insertion service:

  • Is covered by most commercial insurance plans
  • Helps discharge hospitalized patients earlier
  • Helps patients avoid hospital visits altogether by initiating therapy in their homes starting with the very first dose
  • Allows for timely initiation of therapy

You can count on us to provide the highest level of infusion care for your patients. Refer your patients to Coram.

PICC = Peripherally inserted central catheter. IV=intravenous.
