Coram's PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program

Coram's Post-Graduate Year One (PGY1) Pharmacy Residency Program prepares graduates to assume positions as patient care clinicians in any home care infusion setting, or to pursue second year, post-graduate training in a focused area of practice. As a national provider of specialty home infusion services and specialty pharmacy distribution, Coram's nurses, pharmacists, dietitians and other clinical staff are known in the industry for providing an exceptional level of care to thousands of home and infusion suite IV patients every day, including those with complex therapy needs.

Coram's PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program prepares graduates to assume positions as patient care clinicians in any home care infusion setting, or to pursue second year, post-graduate training in a focused area of practice.

  • Intense professional development. You will train in drug information support, supervise support staff, manage a clinical team, compound sterile product, develop policies/procedures, and focus on medication safety and continual pharmacy quality improvement.

What is the application criteria for the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program?

  • License or eligibility for state licensure in program site state within 30 days after start of
    the residency
  • PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy
  • Ability to travel locally to company locations for learning experiences and professional
    development activities
  • Effective communication skills with a motivated and enthusiastic attitude
  • Enrollment in the ASHP Residency Matching Program
