In this capacity, Mr. Greenleaf will be responsible for leading the operations and sales functions of both the home infusion therapy and home respiratory therapy/home medical equipment segments of the Company.

07.25.2009 - Medicare Part B — Let Your Voice Be Heard
Did you know that Medicare does not provide coverage for certain home infusion therapies under Medicare Part B? Medicare D, the pharmacy benefit plan, limits coverage to the infusion drug only and does not cover the clinical services (pharmacy, nursing, and supplies), that are required. As a result, Medicare patients have no choice but to receive treatment from hospitals, doctor’s offices and skilled nursing facilities, where they pay less in out-of-pocket expenses than if their coverage were similar to the commercially insured in the home. This adds unnecessary expense to the healthcare system, reduces patient choice, and inhibits delivery system reform.
Our national representatives need to understand the impact of this lack of coverage. By providing this benefit, they would be supporting cost reductions in the Medicare A program and more importantly, support patients who wish to reside in the setting that is most comfortable for therapy – home.
